Make It Better

A suitcase is made into an instrument, a restaurant becomes a rock club, a classic pop song transforms into an instrumental rock odyssey, and strangers through a shared musical venture form a new friendship. It’s the inspiring power of music that makes it possible for us to take a good idea and make it great, make it better!

Last night was The Water’s album release show at the Golden West Cafe, we made the event free to get as many of our friends out as possible. We had no idea that all of Baltimore would show up! Golden West was packed and during the night we had to turn people away unfortunately. Those who were able to squeeze in were in for an amazing performance. On top of playing some of their fan favorites, the boys also unveiled a calm angelic tune off the new record titled “Parliament of Owls”.

To close out the night, The Water pulled out an incredible rendition of “Hey Jude”. This song, well known for it’s positive message from John Lennon to his son, starts simple enough, but builds and builds into it’s uplifting sing-along. The problem; The Water is vocal-less band. The Solution; get the audience to sing for you!

We will do our best to bring you guys more great music and shows! Speaking of, be sure to mark your calendars for March 7th, The Water will be playing with Dead Leaf Echo at Metro Gallery.
