Acopia is a band from Naarm/Melbourne, formed in 2018 by Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan, and Morgan Wright. Working with restraint and atmosphere, their music unfolds slowly and deliberately, guided by instinct and emotion. Their debut album Chances was released in 2022 on Melbourne imprint Companion, followed by a self-titled, self-released LP in 2023. They’ve sold out headline shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.Their third album, Blush Response, was released September 2025 via Scenic Route.

Alba Akvama is a composer and songwriter emerging from Copenhagen’s progressive underground scene. Her music moves with quiet intensity, built from fluid guitar lines, meditative vocals, and minimalist arrangements that allow emotion to linger in open space.

Her songwriting often begins in personal feeling but expands into dramatic, almost mythic interior worlds. Love, time, and the fear of loss return as recurring themes, with moments held in stillness as if caught just before they fracture. There is a calm severity to her work: tender yet unsettling, intimate yet conceptually precise.

 recently spotlighted her as a new voice to watch, capturing the stark, cinematic atmosphere that defines her sound, while 

 described her music as “delicate and transportive,” highlighting its minimal melodic loops and meditative intensity.

Akvama carries a distinctly Nordic sense of space that feels open, elemental, and quietly cinematic, balanced by raw human warmth. Alba Akvama makes her official debut in 2026, positioning herself as a distinctive new voice within contemporary European alt-pop, committed to capturing fragile moments before they dissolve.

In the rift between sound design, early emo, rock and pop, Horse Vision continues to elaborate on an alternative approach to traditional songwriting with a somewhat definitive, future-forward guitar music aesthetic. 

With the release of their 13-track album ”Another Life”, Horse Vision conglomerates a distinct selection of acoustic instruments and their synthesized counterparts; the acoustic guitar and it’s synthetic equivalent, the recorded vocal and the vocaloid – weaving a musical landscape that is at once sincere and strangely familiar. When performing live, the foundation on which the band originates is at most evident, consisting of a classic rock trio setting with bass, drums and guitars.

Mark William Lewis is an artist that exists between the cracks. He eschews easy genre categorisation, plays with the traditional conventions of a songwriter, and creates music that is poetically sharp, visually vivid, yet texturally opaque. Writing songs that explore the intersection between intimacy and alienation, connection and disconnection, he is a singular and bold voice operating in a distinctly unique yet blurry space.

Every song on his self-titled album is deeply rooted in images of specific places: houses, rooms, beds, parties, or locations across London. The album is open, flowing and focused. With his self-titled album Lewis has made a record that feels like the purest embodiment of him as a complete artist to date. Which feels fitting in the decision to make this record self-titled. “It felt right but also a little bit playful,” he says. “I think every songwriter has to have a self-titled album at some point and this album is basically saying: here I am.”

The Baltimore born artist’s latest album, The Passionate Ones, channels his emotionally charged blend of post-punk, New Wave, R&B, electro-funk, and experimental indie pop.

Marcus Brown, aka Nourished by Time, has created a singular sonic world shaped by his hometown’s rich and eclectic musical heritage where jazz, punk, indie, hip hop, electronic and R&B collide in raw harmony. On The Passionate Ones, Brown tackles love, labour, existentialism, dreams, disillusionment, and hope through the lens of meta modernism, documenting an American story of an artist using their vices to keep them afloat while they follow their passions and dreams.

In 2025, Nourished By Time emerged as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary music, anchored by the critical and cultural impact of his album The Passionate Ones. The record became a defining moment of the year — earning #1 Needle Drop Album of 2025 and widespread acclaim from major press outlets. NPR celebrated it as “pop music for the apocalypse — not for submission, but for survival,” a sentiment that resonated across the music press. The Passionate Ones was featured in year-end best-of lists from Pitchfork, Passion of Weiss, Rolling Stone, NME, Clash, Paste, Washington Post, The Guardian, Stereogum, and Dazed, solidifying Nourished By Time’s breakthrough. This rare combination of critical acclaim and cultural resonance positioned him as a voice defining the sound and spirit of his generation.

Mali Larrington-Nelson AKA Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets and productions. Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One has been exposed to and influenced by the full spectrum of sounds her hometown of London has birthed and nurtured over the years. As with many young Londoners at the time, grime and the wider family of indigenous London club music was what gave Shy One the passion to pursue music as more than a pastime. Obsessively collecting white labels by some of her local production heroes quickly developed into obsessively making beats in Fruity Loops for a handful of local MCs bubbling up in Harrow, the North West London borough she grew up in. Undeterred by those in the scene who called her beats “weird” or “different”, Shy One ploughed on carving out her own sound which eventually caught the ear of Scratcha DVA, who went on to release the 

Since her initial releases with Scratcha, Shy One has continued to grow as an artist and diversify further into a somewhat undefinable sound that’s origins are undoubtedly London but take in a huge variety of musical cultures, from hip-hop and jazz to house music and West London’s own brokenbeat movement – all of which are well represented on her weekly NTS show and BBC Radio 1 Residency, which took place at the end of 2022. As well as DJing in clubs and on the radio, Shy One has been busy releasing music more recently on labels like Rhythm Section, Astral Black, Beats In Space, and Apron Records while also delivering a string of remixes for the likes of Nubya Garcia, Oscar Jerome, and Bella Boo. 2022 saw the release of two critically acclaimed projects on Eglo Records: 

; a vinyl-only 7” consisting of two crunchy, left-leaning techno workouts and 

a five-track EP that masterfully exemplifies the breadth and scope of Shy One’s unique and soulful production prowess. The release accompanied Shy One’s busiest and most prestigious booking schedule to date, with two rapturous appearances at Panorama Bar, widely celebrated sets at summer festivals like GALA, Nuits Sonores, and Glastonbury as well as her first tour of Australia and New Zealand. 2023 has seen Shy One grace the cover of Crack Magazine, as well as an appearance in British Vogue and a sterling contribution to the RA podcast mix series plus a busier and more exciting gig schedule than ever. Her latest offering; 

on Numbers was released to critical acclaim, receiving widespread radio and club rotation during one of the Londoner’s busiest summers to date, taking in dates in both the US and across the UK and Europe’s festival season.

Now, Shy One presents her long awaited second album 'Mali' on Touching Bass. Across 10 tracks, her production prowess meets a now-finely tuned grip on sonic storytelling. Crafted alongside a powerful cast of Black British collaborators including George Riley, Steve Spacek, Private Joy, and James Massiah, bopping through a fitting celebration of the party and the afters.

Vanessa Bedoret is a London-based French violinist, vocalist and composer. She integrates her classical background to experimental production, as a means to shape intimate and cinematic compositions.

Treating songwriting as an instinctive process, Vanessa transforms her deeply personal experiences into pure emotion. Vanessa began her classical training at age 6 and on completion at 18 she embraced the thrill of playing guitar in punk bands, and like many at the turn of adulthood, was quickly captured by the allure of the dancefloor. Her deep understanding of musical form elevates her experimentation to a truly unique sonic experience, one that never strays too far from her original love of classical music.

She joined Scenic Route, a label renowned for selecting and nourishing rising stars for the release of her debut album, Eyes, out on 8th of March 2024. Boomkat described the record as “a timeless bouquet of raptures and ballads iced with shearing strings and shatterproof electronics” whilst Fader called it “sleek, avant-garde reconstructions of club music — think Björk produced by Mica Levi”.

Previously releasing on independent labels like Laura Lies In and Archaic Vaults, her refined skillset has meant she’s been in high demand for both solo shows and collaborations. These accolades include playing violin with New York avant garde collective Standing On The Corner at The Serpentine, as well as a part of Kahil El’Zabar conducts MOKI at the ICA, and Linder: Another Music in a Different Arcadia at the Design Museum alongside artist Linder Sterling, Naima Cherry, Maxwell Sterling, Kenichi Iwasa & Ella Frears.

In 2023 and 2024, she accompanied Astrid Sonne for her new album Great Doubt’s tour, as a string trio with Astrid and cellist Emma Barnaby. For her solo performances, she’s shared stages with Lorenzo Senni, Nourished by Time, Chanel Beads, Mark William Lewis, Voice Actor, Ekaterina Bazhenova-Yamasaki, John T. Gast and Nexcyia to name a few.
